Entries are now open for the CIPD’s annual Recruitment Marketing Awards, the industry awards for innovative recruitment marketing
campaigns.
February 18 2011 - This year’s awards, produced in association with People Management, feature a new category -
Best use of Social Media - recognising creative and impactful recruitment marketing campaigns that successfully utilise the fastest growing media
channels.
The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 14 July, at the Landmark London Hotel, London.
There are 14 categories in total, including Campaign of the Year, Best Graduate Recruitment and Best Recruitment Website - as well as the Grand Prix Award, which will be presented to the overall winner.
Natalie White, head of corporate marketing, CIPD, says: "Across all categories this year, we’ll be looking for the most effective and impactful examples of where agencies and organisations have pushed the boundaries to engage with their target audiences and deliver results.
"This year we are introducing a new award - Best use of social media - in recognition of the increased dominance of social media and the real difference it can make to an organisation. We’ll be looking for recruitment campaigns, which raise the profile of the organisation’s brand among an ever increasing digital savvy audience."
Anthony Moran, head of marketing and events, Redactive Media Group, says:
"It’s been a year of ups and downs for the HR and recruitment professions given the challenging economic climate and the volatility of the labour market, but there can be no doubt that recruitment marketing is on the rise again. The number of vacancies being advertised is growing and the quality of the work being produced to source strong candidates is better than ever.
"The awards will help gain recognition for the organisations that are most able to demonstrate creative and effective
recruitment solutions."
