Symcor wins multi-million dollar outsourcing contract with Ceridian

Symcor to provide print and distribution services for Ceridian's customers across Canada

August 3 2006 - Ceridian Canada, a leading human resource and payroll solutions company, and Symcor Inc., one of North America's leaders in business process outsourcing, today announced the signing of a five-year, multi-million dollar agreement which takes effect September 1, 2006. Under the terms of this contract, Symcor will assume the printing and distribution of payroll stubs, cheques and reports for Ceridian's 40,000 customers across Canada.

Ceridian's decision to outsource its print and distribution activities will enable the firm to concentrate on expanding its HR and Payroll solutions business with the assurance that clients receive uninterrupted services and have access to expanded service offerings.

Symcor's chief executive officer, Ed Kilroy said, "This is an important win for Symcor as it represents a significant non-bank commercial business contract in the Canadian market. We are delighted to partner with Ceridian."

As part of this agreement, all 77 Ceridian employees involved with the in-scope processes will transfer to Symcor on September 1, 2006.
