World-Renowned Training Experts Join Advantage Performance Group to Focus on Enhancing The Advantage Way(SM) System

Robert Brinkerhoff and Dennis Dressler to Expand The Advantage Way to Achieve Practical Business Results and Maximize Training ROI for APG Customers

September 27, 2005 - Advantage Performance Group (APG), one of the world's largest human performance consulting networks, today announced that Robert Brinkerhoff and Dennis Dressler, world-renowned training authorities and founders of The Learning Alliance, have joined Advantage Performance Group. Brinkerhoff and Dressler have provided creative and innovative contributions to The Advantage Way(TM) training effectiveness methodology. This methodology has achieved results at such companies as Motorola, SC Johnson, Biogen Idec and Daimler Chrysler. Brinkerhoff and Dressler will focus full-time on working directly with Advantage Performance Group customers and their needs. They will also continue their research and development to expand The Advantage Way(TM) system with new solutions and approaches.

Brinkerhoff and Dressler have had a long-standing strategic alliance with Advantage Performance Group, helping its customers achieve practical business results and maximize ROI from training initiatives. The two co-developed The High Impact Learning System(R) and the Success Case Evaluation Method(R), which are foundation elements of The Advantage Way system. Author of many articles and books on the subject of training, Brinkerhoff's latest book, "Telling Training's Story," will be published in 2006 by Barrett-Koehler Publishers, Inc.

"Making a full-time commitment to delivering and enhancing The Advantage Way system is a very exciting step for me. Having worked with the Advantage Performance Group team for many years, I know first-hand the results that this uniquely effective training methodology can achieve, and I'm eager to work with them to develop new ways and new approaches to help customers meet their training goals," said Brinkerhoff.

The Advantage Way system is a unique training effectiveness methodology that enhances the results of any training program and ensures that training creates measurable business impact. The Advantage Way system guarantees that customers' training programs will achieve documented business results. The methodology is based on more than 30 years of research and practice by Brinkerhoff and Dressler and the Advantage Performance Group.

"Some of our customers have already gained the benefits of our association with Rob and Dennis. Now, with their full-time commitment and creative energy, we will be able to help our customers achieve measurable business impact in every learning initiative. Our expanded partnership will lead to an even more comprehensive ADVANTAGE WAY(SM) system over the next few years and make it easier for our customers to dramatically increase the ROI of their training investments," said Tim Mooney, Managing Partner for Advantage Performance Group.
